5 out of 5 stars GPS mount for my harley   August 18, 2010

I mounted this to my Harley-Davidson handlebar. I went 4,400 miles in a week with no complaints. This worked perfect for the price I could not be happier. It did drift down a little at big bumps. It happened maybe 5 times over the week which is no big deal to just adjust it back up. It doesn't fall off! I would recommend this to anyone mounting a GPS to the handlebar. Real easy to remove as well. Great unit.

1 out of 5 stars Don't Waste Your Time or Money   August 18, 2010

I had to throw it out before even getting to use it on my bicycle. It is made very cheaply - good thing it WAS cheap. The strap lock lever snapped off while I was trying to mount it on my bicycle handlebar. I was going to try to use handy-straps to try to hold it on, but it's not worth risking my GPS falling off at 20 mph.

It is a very versatile and solid product. I like a lot that you can easyly mount and dismount it on your way.

3 out of 5 stars It gets the job done, but it could be better.   April 25, 2010

One problem I had is that the strap is not long enough to mount onto the part I wanted to. Another problem is that once the GPS is on the ball, it tends to wobble a lot while riding, but I've read that using rubber bands to hold it in place will work as a temp fix. But overall, I think it's worth the money because its cheap and gets the job done. You could probably find a better GPS bike mount for $50, but if you're not a big spender, then this mount will do just fine.

1 out of 5 stars Good idea but it just doesn't work   March 11, 2010

This item seemed like a good idea, for the most part it appears to be well made, had a camera attachment which was interesting. The problem is that it just dosen't secure to the handle bars tight enough. As soon as you hit the least vibration the thing rotates and your gps is looking at the ground. The rubber pull strap does not lock into the lever. The plastic release/lock lever gets easily fatigued after a couple of releases and no longer locks.

If the mount had a secure screw mount it woudl be fine, the rubber band is a failure. Would not recommend this mount.
